Why I do what I do

Whatever it was that started your problem,

You have come here today for a way to solve them.

You may be struggling with anxiety, fear, despair or low mood,

Doubting whether this problem could ever be removed.

Many people struggle with their mental health just like you,

People have always struggled with their thoughts, behaviours and emotions it’s nothing new.

Please don’t feel embarrassed, ashamed or broken,

You are brave and courageous, this will be validated within my therapy style, open.

Asking for help can help you to recover,

If we work together and trust one another.

Therapy requires dedication, consistency and determination,

Once you learn the tools and techniques you’ll experience a psychology germination.

Compassion and patience is what I strive to show you,

I hope you’ll reciprocate these qualities back to me too.

My job is to teach, guide and encourage,

The aim is for your mental health to flourish.
